We’re excited to share the success of our recent Disaster Management workshop at Bhagwati Institute of Technology and science (BITS) in Ghaziabad. The brilliant engineering students dived into understanding disaster scenarios and learned how individuals play a crucial role in managing and mitigating them.
The collaborative environment, fostered by BITS management and faculty members allowed students to use their engineering skills as a cohesive unit during disasters. Under the guidance of Master Trainer Mr. Suresh Kumar, the students connected theoretical knowledge with practical training, creating an enriching learning experience.
Special appreciation goes to Dr. Himanshu Singhal (Secretary ,BITS), Mr. Guarav Sharma (Campus Manager, BITS) and Er. Naem Ali (Faculty, BITS ) for their outstanding contributions in making this workshop happen. Thanks also to Master Trainer Mr. Suresh Kumar and Mr. Faiyaz Iqbal (Project Coordinator, SBF) for their expertise and passion, inspiring everyone involved.
This workshop is just the beginning, with more exciting initiatives and training sessions ahead. The goal is to build a community of trained individuals, youths, and citizens dedicated to creating a safer and more resilient world. Let’s inspire others to join the movement for a disaster-free society!
