SBF Assam North (DRMV Durduria Village) hosted a Disaster Management Workshop in Durduria village, Darrang district. The event saw active participation from 50 individuals who gained valuable insights into community safety, government schemes, and healthcare provisions for women and children during floods.
Prominent figures present at the workshop included Mr. Palas Baruah from the Civil Defence Department, representatives from Chengeliyajhar Gaon Panchyat, Mojammil Hoque, Secretary of the masjid committee , and Saharun Nessa, an Anganwadi Worker.
SBF Volunteers Safikul Isam, Sariful Hoque, Mostaq Hussain, and Asraful Islam facilitated the smooth organization of the workshop, highlighting the community’s proactive approach to disaster preparedness.
