Our story
Society for Bright Future is a non-profit NGO that was established in 2006 under the vision 2016 scheme.
Itis a specialized and dedicated National organization that works in the field of Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation.

In the no disaster days it organizes various training programs for the volunteers and creates general awareness in public in order to help them prepare for disasters.

The SBF Rehabilitation program includes the handicapped assistance program, reconstruction of the affected population and employment assistance, etc. Society for Bright Future has been striving to develop an ability to deploy an emergency at a moment’s notice. 

In the past, SBF has quickly responded to natural calamities in Bihar, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh by providing First Aid supplies, shelter, blankets, water, food, and other basic survival materials.

SBF takes projects regarding any disaster or rehab work. The Emergency and Relief program of SBF provides food packages, drinking water, clothes, shelter, and medical care during emergencies or in case of any disaster.

OUR VISION

RELIEF WORK :
Relief Work of more than Rs.100 Million, 3.5 Lacs people benefited approximately. 
Construction of One Thousand Houses for Kosi Flood Victims.
Emergency Relief Work for Bihar, Assam Tornado Victims.

Distributed Utensils, Mosquito Nets in Slums of Delhi where their shanties were burned completely.

Distributed 1000 warm clothes in Tihar Jail, Delhi during winter.
Distributed 14,000 blankets & 4100 quilts to poor people during the winter season of the year 2015-16 in Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh,
West Bengal, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Gujarat.
AWARENESS & REHAB WORK :
Training Workshop in Hyderabad and Hooghly, West Bengal for Disaster Preparedness.
Kosi Flood Relief and Rehabilitation.
SBF Awareness Programmes for School Children conducted in various schools of Delhi.
Rehabilitation work during Nepal Earthquake in 2015.
Repaired houses in Gujarat and West Bengal & constructed huts in Assam during the flood.
Organized 5 workshops on disaster management in North Indian states in the year 2015 in which more
than 300 people participated.

OUR MISSION

To build up an effective and responsive mechanism for disaster management both at local and national level.
To evolve suitable plans and strategies for rehabilitation and reconstruction of dwellings during and after the disaster in the most effective and coordinated
A manner with an aim at building up capabilities of disaster survivors empowering them to take charge of their lives.
To conceive, plan evolve and develop a complete mechanism of disaster preparedness by evaluating the
capabilities of the local population for coping and mitigating the disaster damages.
To develop and find appropriate and sustainable solutions to face future disaster by evaluating and assessing risk, vulnerability, and capacity and finding out ways and means of strengthening disaster preparedness and in this way evolving and building up an effective disaster response mechanisms.
To raise community awareness and educate the general public regarding the hazards and vulnerability of future disasters particularly in high-risk areas by imparting basic knowledge of coping strategies that can minimize loss of life and property.
To inspire and help local voluntary organizations to achieve the above objectives so that an early warning system may be installed and made effective to minimize, mitigate and reduce the effects of disasters.
To build a system of relief and rehabilitation by setting up medical aid centers, clinics, medical camps, counseling facilities, diagnostic centers, etc.
To establish general hospitals with modern infrastructure and facilities state of the art diagnostic centers in different cities all over the country and also multi-specialty hospitals.
To set up orphanages, widows home, homes for elderly, rehabilitation centers for disabled and handicapped people etc.

To collaborate and associate with persona, social activists, societies, organizations and government bodies working in the same field with same or similar objectives and obtain their cooperation and help.
