A Skill Lab on disaster management was organized at Dept. of Social Work in Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi on 4th April, 2018. 25 Master of Social Work (MSW) final-year students of the university took part in this workshop. Ms. Shireen Fatma , Assistant Professor has taken initiative to organise this Skill Lab as part of the course and she was herself involved in this program . The resource person were Mr. Suresh Kumar and Mr. Irfan Ahmad, from SBF. The workshop includes training on various modules of disaster management i.e., first aid, fire fighting, rescue operation and riot control etc. The participants were interactive during the workshop.
