REPORT OF FIRE INCIDENT (ARARIA)

On April 30, 2024, many people suffered heavy losses due to a fire in Dooba village, about 12 km east of Araria city, at 3:30 PM. According to the information, 22 houses have been burned to ashes. The condition of the victims is such that only clothes are left on their bodies; everything else has been burned to ashes.
On receiving information about the incident, Society for Bright future volunteer Tausif Alam reached the spot and observed the situation, and from there he also sent us some pictures of the incident site, from which it can be estimated how much damage has been done.

In this case, spot verification has been done by the administration, but no relief has been provided by the administration yet. On this matter, Bihar’s Co-Convener Mehboob Alam (Araria) spoke to Mr. Somesh Kumar, an officer working in the Disaster Management Department, and told him the seriousness of the matter. Mr. Somesh Kumar, taking this matter seriously, has said that a community kitchen will be run there soon and some relief will be given.
