On July 4, 2024, the houses of 250 families in Char Motirchar, Kaimvhani, Pokamari Gaon, and Motirchar areas (Dhubri) were flooded due to the rising water level of the Bahmaput River. A 15-member team led by SBF Dhubri District Convener Ashraful Hoque went door to door to help the flood-affected people, shifted their luggage to higher places, and observed the situation of the flood-affected people.
