On 16th July, 2023 SBF Assam North provided food assistance to two flood camps located at LP School and Community Resource Centre Chirang district, Madarpur, Assam North. The distribution included food items from both the government and SBF’s own procurement efforts. In total, 80 households received assistance.
The government-supplied food items included rice, dal, mustard oil, and salt. Additionally, SBF volunteers procured and distributed puha (puffed rice), muri (puffed rice snacks), and sugar.
The combined efforts ensured that essential food items reached the flood-affected families in both camps, providing them with much-needed sustenance during this challenging time.
