A Training Workshop for Area Conveners (Delhi) was successfully organised on 22nd April at Jamia Nagar.
The workshop witnessed the active participation of 13 Area Core Conveners and was conducted through a combination of presentations and group discussions, ensuring both learning and engagement.The session began with aninsightful presentation on the Role of the Area Convener by Mr. Amir Jamal, who highlighted key responsibilities and expectations from conveners at the grassroots level.
This was followed by Ms. Huma’s session on Coordination with the State Team, where she emphasised the importance of effective communication and structured collaboration for smooth functioning.
Mr. Saif Chaudhary led an interactive discussion on Volunteer Engagement & Network Building, focusing on strategies to strengthen volunteer participation and expand the organisational network.
Mr. Irfan Ahmad conducted multiple important sessions, starting with an Overview of Heat Wave Relief, providing context and urgency of the initiative. He further elaborated on the Implementation of the Heat Wave Project, outlining practical steps and execution strategies. Additionally, he guided participants on Crowdfunding — Ideas & Leader’s Role, sharing innovative approaches to resource mobilisation and leadership responsibilities in fundraising efforts.
The workshop concluded with a closing session by Mr. Abdul Sattar, who summarised the key takeaways and encouraged participants to actively implement the learnings in their respective areas.
