Yesterday, on November 19, 2023, the Society for Bright Future organized a district workshop on disaster management at Satvendi M. E Madrasa (Jaleswar), Assam North, with the active participation of 40 students. The comprehensive workshop addressed various facets of disasters, including their types, appropriate response mechanisms, and life-saving measures during emergencies.
Representing the Lakhipur Fire and Emergency Service Station, Mr. Miraz Abul Hussain, Mr. Kulel Patowary, M. Bapuji Rabha, Mr. Diku Moni Saikia, Mr. Arup Talukdar, Mr. Ramjan Ali, along with Mr. Md Abdur Rouf Miah and Mr. Enamul Hoque from the Civil Defence Search and Rescue Team, shared valuable insights on the importance of disaster management training. They delved into techniques and strategies for fire-fighting, first aid training, stretcher making, and flood preparedness.
The workshop wrapped up with awards and certificate distribution ceremony, where participants were recognized for their active involvement.
State Convener Assam North, Mr. Fatek Ali and Co-convener, Mr. Ashraful Hoque played pivotal roles in ensuring the success of this program.
