We are deeply saddened to inform you that a devastating fire broke out in the area adjacent to Nimdighi football ground of Nimdighi village in Uluberia, resulting in the complete destruction of about 30 houses and leaving approximately 120-130 people, including men, women, and children, in a helpless condition.
Their household furniture, clothes, and other essential belongings have been burnt to ashes, and they have now taken shelter at Nimdighi Primary School in Nimdighi village. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the affected families and pray for their speedy recovery.
In response to this tragic incident, some of our dedicated SBF volunteers immediately rushed to the affected area to assist with the rescue operation.
At present, we are providing them with some clothes, but we urgently need your support to arrange food packets and rehabilitation centers for the affected families. We urge you to come forward and contribute to this cause as much as you can
