Tuesday night, 11th July, 2023 due to the rising water levels in the Aie River, many people had to relocate from Madarpur area of Chirang district, Assam North. In response to this devastating situation, our SBF volunteer, Mofidul Islam, along with three other SBF volunteers, are carrying out rescue operations to help the flood-affected people.
The flood has affected a population of approximately 300 individuals, causing great distress to 60 families in the area. Mr. Mofidul Islam and his team have successfully rescued people from the affected regions.
