This time on the occasion of “Eid” new clothes were distributed to among 200 people of 100 families in New Delhi’s Abul Fazal Enclave Residents Welfare Association Office. The objective of this campaign is to involve that section of the society in the joy of the festival who cannot buy new clothes due to poverty.
Mr. Irfan Ahmed, National Coordinator of the Society, while addressing the beneficiaries on this occasion, highlighted the purpose and objective of this campaign. Mr. Asif Iqbal, Secretary JIH Delhi also participated in this program. Well-known social personality and Vice President of Wrestling Federation, Mr. Zubaid Rehman while addressing the program said that the role of the society in helping the poor and needy is remarkable.
Mr. Mohd Shafi Madani, Treasurer of the Society, in his concluding remarks mentioned the activities of the Society and highlighted the importance of such a program.
Volunteer Coordinator of the Society Dr Aamir Jamal, Public Relations Official Mr. Zahid Afzal, State Convener Mr. Mohd Shahzad and Co Convener Mr. Umrul Hasan played key role in organizing this program and made it a success.
Since its inception for the last ten years, SBF is actively involved in welfare work for the poor and calamity affected families of the country. Society for Bright Future believes that the economic crisis is no less than a natural disaster. Due to economic problems, a large section of the society remains deprived. To enable them to play a positive role in the society has also been the objective of SBF. Such campaigns are an important step towards the fulfillment of the goals and objectives of the society.
The SBF has set a benchmark in dealing with disasters and helping vulnerable populations. SBF always comes forward to save the humanity in other hazards like earthquake, fire eruption, building collapse etc. Over the years, SBF has helped people and saved more than 60,000 lives in dozens of natural calamities including Assam Floods, East Uttar Pradesh Floods, Kerala Floods, Jamnagar Floods, Konkan Maharashtra Floods etc.
