Society for Bright Future (SBF), a national organization focused on disaster management and rehabilitation, conducted a two-day state-level training workshop (From 25 December to 26 December 2024) in Howrah, West Bengal, hosted by Kolkata Zone at The Scholar School. The workshop brought together 60 volunteers from 8 districts, focusing on First Aid, Civil Defense, and Fire Fighting through hands-on sessions led by experienced trainers, including fire brigade officials.
Distinguished guests like Dr. Mashiur Rahman, Sheikh Alimuddin, Mr. Abdur Rahim, and NDRF member Motiur Rahman, Psychiatrist Muktananda Kundu & Maruf Hossain ,Black belt in Karate & self Defense inspired participants with their insights. National SBF leaders Mr. Irfan Ahmad and Dr. Amir Jamal joined via video conference.
SBF Kolkata Zone Convener Sheikh Md. Arifullah, Co-Convener Rafiqul Islam, and other zonal leaders ensured the program’s success. Certificates were awarded to all participants and guests in the closing ceremony.
This initiative strengthens SBF’s mission to train skilled volunteers for disaster management and social welfare.
