Society for Bright Future (SBF) has been distributing new clothes among the poor on the occasion of various festivals like Eid, Diwali and Holi under the “Kapda Bank” campaign. This time on the occasion of “Holi” new clothes were distributed to among 200 families in Vikas Nagar locality in Delhi.
Dr. Amir Jamal from Society for Bright Future was present in this program and Mr. Umar Daraz played a major role to organize this program. The objective of this campaign is to involve that section of the society in the joy of the festival who cannot buy new clothes due to poverty.
Since its inception for the last ten years, SBF is actively involved in welfare work for the poor and calamity affected families of the country. Society for Bright Future believes that the economic crisis is no less than a natural disaster. Due to economic problems, a large section of the society remains deprived. The SBF has set a benchmark in dealing with disasters and helping vulnerable populations. SBF always comes forward to save the humanity in other hazards like earthquake, fire eruption, building collapse etc. Over the years, SBF has helped people and saved more than 60,000 lives in dozens of natural calamities including Assam Floods, East Uttar Pradesh Floods, Kerala Floods, Jamnagar Floods, Konkan Maharashtra Floods etc. SBF has successfully organized 281 events in 19 states last year under Project Rahat (Blanket Distribution Program during winter season) in which 15114 blankets were distributed to needy families.
