Society for Bright Future organised an Orientation workshop at “SBF Hqtr.” Abul Fazal, Delhi. Where 30 enthusiastic participants attended this informative workshop. Ms. Madiha Javed introduced the aim and objectives of this Orientation workshop.
We were fortunate to have Mr. Suresh Kumar, Civil Defense Delhi conducted an enlightening training session on Understanding disaster terminology. Participants gained valuable insights into key terms such as disaster, hazard, vulnerability, mitigation, preparedness, relief, rehabilitation and development.
Dr. Amil Jamal, the SBF Volunteer Coordinator, presented an informative session on understanding volunteers’ organizations and their activities. He shared his insights on the importance of volunteerism and the role of volunteers in promoting social welfare and community development.
One of the highlights of the workshop was Mr. Irfan Ahmad, National Coordinator (SBF), who spoke about developing a Disaster Management Plan for our Houses, Universities, Campuses or cities specifically for Fire and Earthquake situations.
