On June 14, 2023, the Society for Bright Future Howrah chapter formed a “Blood Donation Group” in the Birshibpur Area core. The purpose of this group is to provide immediate blood support to patients in need. It consists of 15 donors. Each member of the group has pledged to donate blood whenever the hospital requires it.
Mr. Shahnawaz Khan, the Howrah District Convenor, expressed plans to replicate this blood donation group in other Area cores within the district. Mr. Julfikar Ahmed, the State Convener of the Society for Bright Future, provided guidance and suggestions for the program. Assistant Convener Mr. Sheikh Md Arifullah oversaw the formation of the group.
