On August 12, 2024, the relentless rise of the Fuklay River in Udalguri district resulted in severe flooding, affecting the homes of 50 families in the Nowbandha village and Attrikhat areas.
In response to this emergency, a dedicated 2-member team led by our Udalguri District Attrikhat Area Convener, Jamiul Islam, swiftly mobilized to assist those in need. The team went door to door, helping families secure their belongings and relocate to higher, safer places.
We stand in solidarity with the affected families and are committed to supporting them during these challenging times.
