The recent floods in Punjab have left behind a trail of devastation, submerging entire villages and displacing thousands of families. Among the worst-affected regions is Sultanpur Lodhi Tehsil, where 16 villages remain under water. On-Ground Relief Operations
The SBF Punjab team is actively engaged in rescue and relief operations across flood-hit villages. Our volunteers are working tirelessly to reach families trapped or displaced due to the rising waters, ensuring that essential aid is delivered without delay.

Dedicated Leadership
This operation is being led with utmost commitment by Mr. Asif Jameel (Convener, SBF Punjab) and Mr. Amash Altaf (Co-Convener, SBF Punjab). Under their guidance, two ground teams have been mobilized, each focusing on different clusters of affected areas. This dual approach ensures wider coverage and faster relief distribution, maximizing outreach during these urgent times.
Meeting Immediate Needs, Planning for Rehabilitation
While our current focus remains on immediate rescue and relief, SBF is also conducting surveys to assess the scale of damage and identify the long-term needs of the communities. This groundwork will help in planning rehabilitation activities once the floodwaters recede, ensuring families can rebuild their lives with dignity.
