On June 2, 2024, due to the rise in water levels in Kamrup (Nagaon district), people left their homes and shifted towards higher places. The SBF team, under the supervision of Abdul Jabbar, has observed the situation and helped them as much as they could initially.

On May 1, 2024, the SBF team and SDRF rescued 138 members of 29 families and also rescued 25 cows and goats to a safer place after continuous rescue for 7 hours at Moshkipur. The situation in Assam South is very bad due to heavy rain.
