On July 3, 2024, the Dalgaon area core of Darrang (Assam North) district started a flood rescue operation in the Shyampur area. More than 50 people were rescued by the SBF volunteer team.

On July 3, 2024, the Rural Volunteers Center and Satra jointly organized a district IAG meeting where many active NGO’s in Darrang participated. The SBF Darrang team members were present in this important meeting.
