On May 31, 2024, houses of 1000 families in Jomunamuk and Daboka areas were flooded due to the rising water level of the Nikhari River in Hojai district. A five-member team led by our SBF volunteer Abdul Jabbar from Hojai district went door-to-door to help the flood-affected people, shifted their belongings to higher places, and observed the situation of the flood-affected people.
