Nine people died and over 30 others were injured after a Kanchanjunga Express derailed on Monday (17 June 2024) due to being hit from behind by a goods train in Bengal’s Siliguri. The Society for Bright Future’s volunteers reached at the incident site and observed the situation and started relief work.
