National Training Workshop for State & Zonal Conveners

New Delhi, July 15, 2025 — The Society for Bright Future (SBF) organized its impactful National Training Workshop cum Annual Review Meet on July 12–13, 2025, at Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. The event brought together conveners from 22 out of 24 zones for two days of intensive learning, sharing, and reflection. The workshop commenced with a soul-stirring session by Mr. Abul Ala Subhani on “In Service of Humanity” in the light of divine guidance, encouraging participants to see social work as a sacred spiritual mission. This was followed by the Inaugural Address by Mr. Mohd Shafi Madni, Secretary of SBF, who set the tone for meaningful and purposeful deliberations. Mr. Ateequr Rahman, Treasurer of SBF, addressed the critical topic of “Fundraising as a Vital Response to Grassroots Needs,” stressing the importance of ethical fundraising for sustainable community impact.

An enriching Experience Sharing Session followed, where NGO leaders shared their inspiring journeys. Dr. Bharat Bhushan from Muskan Foundation spoke on efforts in drug de-addiction, Mr. Vikas from Hara Jeevan highlighted work in environmental conservation, and Mr. Vijay Nand from TRAX NGO shed light on road safety awareness initiatives. A thought-provoking Symposium, moderated by Dr. Amir Jamal, explored key themes such as “Strength in Unity,” “Nurturing the Spirit of Service,” and “Serving with Sincerity.” Esteemed speakers Mr. Md Javed, Mr. Julfiqar Ahmad, and Mr. Hassan Ahmad shared powerful insights, making the session deeply impactful. The event successfully combined training, inspiration, and a renewed sense of mission, reinforcing SBF’s commitment to community service.

Mr. T Arif Ali, Chairman of the Vision 2026 Governing Council, delivered a heartfelt address on “Volunteering in the Light of the Sahaba (RA),” drawing inspiration from the prophetic legacy to shape the vision of modern humanitarian work. A standout moment in the workshop was the session titled “Winning Hearts, Building Trust: Making SBF a Public Favourite NGO,” where four working groups presented innovative project ideas aimed at enhancing the organization’s outreach and impact. Their presentations received valuable feedback from Mr. Irfan Ahmad, National Coordinator, fostering a spirit of collaboration and creativity.

The program maintained a strong foundation in ethical and spiritual values through key sessions such as “Sacred Beginnings” by Dr. Khan Yasir from IIISR, “Financial Literacy for Social Impact” by Mr. Mohd Sikandar, and “Leadership in Action” by Mr. M Sajid, Director of Vision 2026. These sessions emphasized the importance of principled leadership, financial acumen, and spiritual grounding in social service. The Annual Review and Action Plan session provided a platform for conveners to present their yearly performance and strategic roadmaps, with constructive observations and visionary guidance shared by Mr. Mohd Shafi Madni, Mr. M Sajid, and Mr. Irfan Ahmad. This conclusive session reinforced accountability and strategic alignment as SBF continues its journey of service and transformation.

Annual Award Ceremony Honoring Dedication

Anchored by Ms. Huma, the Annual Award Ceremony was a moment of immense pride and celebration. The event commenced with opening remarks by Mr. Irfan Ahmad and welcomed several distinguished guests, including Mr. Mirza Zafar Beg, Director of Jamia Cooperative Bank; Mr. Farooq Siddique from AMP; Mr. Charan Singh from the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Delhi; and senior journalist Ms. Naseem Ansari. Awards were presented to outstanding volunteers from various zones in recognition of their exemplary service and dedication. A major highlight of the ceremony was the official release of SBF’s Annual Report 2024–25, marking the culmination of a transformative two-day workshop filled with inspiration, learning, and a renewed commitment to service.
