Due to the rising water level of the Garohill Kalo river (Assam) on October 6, 2024, over 250 families in Kalapani, Patangitola, Toppara, Bauskata, Kandapara, Orarbhui, and Bengkata in South Salmara Mankarchar district (Assam) have been severely affected. Our dedicated 7-member SBF team, led by volunteers Asrob Ali and Bodrul Hoque, went door-to-door to support the flood-affected families, helping them relocate their belongings to safer ground and assessing their situation. We stand in solidarity with those impacted and continue our efforts to bring relief.
