Help desk COVID 19 is set-up by Society for Bright future in 50 different places including Delhi, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, etc. With the purpose to help the people in need. Mr. Irfan Ahmad (National Coordinator) of SBF says that within one month of setting up the help desks. SBF able to help the people on time and was there to served humanity. He further says that SBF is working on planning to set up help desks in other states too. So that we can defeat COVID-19.
According to Mr. Amir Jamal volunteer coordinator of SBF has stated that โbecause of the COVID cases roses and hospitals were running out of beds and oxygenโs cylinders and many people already lose their family members and loved ones that were the time for us to come forward and took this initiative to help people in needโ. He also added โWith this small deed of SBF 119681 people was benefitted.
SBF organized help desks in 50 different places in a number of states such as Delhi, Assam north & south, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh East and West, and West Bengal. SBF running these covid 19 help desks from 20th April 2021, and around 10 volunteers actively participating in each help desks across the states. The purpose of help desks is to making the people aware of this life seizing Coronavirus, giving information from where they can get the oxygen in real-time, availability of a bed in hospitals, knowledge about the covid test and pharmaceuticals. SBF has benefitted 119681 people till now.
