Due to heavy monsoon rains, certain parts of India are currently experiencing a flood situation, while high alerts have been issued in some areas. Keeping this in mind, a delegation from the SBF met with the District Revenue Officer (DRO) of Malerkotla, Punjab. The delegation comprised five volunteers, namely Mr. Ishtiaq Rashid (state convenor), Mr. Amash Altaf (Assistant state convenor), Adv. Faizan Ali, Adbul Rehman and Mr. Saqib.
In light of this situation, our SBF team has prepared teams of volunteers, each assigned to a specific flood-affected areas in Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Delhi and Haryana. As soon as any disaster occurs, they will engage in relief and rescue operations to provide assistance and ensure the safety of affected individuals.
