On November 18, 2023, the Society for Bright Future organized a Traffic Rules Awareness Program at Idrisia High School in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The primary objective of the program was to cultivate awareness of traffic rules among students through an essay competition. Supervised by Mr. Suhel Akhtar (State Convener, Jharjkhand), a total of 63 students actively participated in the essay competition.
The prize distribution ceremony took place on November 21, 2023, with Mr. Vinay Kumar Singh, the in-charge of Hind Pethi Thana, serving as the chief guest during the event at the school.
Throughout the program, students received detailed briefings on traffic rules, their significance, and the importance of practicing safe pedestrian behaviors. Vinay Kumar Singh commended the students for their outstanding writing skills and underscored the necessity of conducting awareness programs like this on an annual basis for children.
The success of the event was credited to the collaborative efforts of the school’s principal, Riyaz Ahmad, along with other teachers.
