On Sunday, 19th March 2023, Society for Bright Future organised a women’s workshop on “Domestic Risk Mitigation” at The Scholar School, Abul Fazal, Delhi.
We are grateful to Mrs. Atiya Siddiqua (Secretary of partner Organisation) the chief guest of the workshop for share her valuable insights with us. Her words of encouragement and motivation inspired the participants to take proactive steps towards their safety and well-being.
The workshop began with good words by Mrs. Nuzhat Yasmeen from partner Organisation and the National Coordinator of SBF, Mr. Irfan Ahmad who introduced the aim and objectives of this workshop.
30 enthusiastic participants attended this workshop, where Ms. Rajkumari conducted an informative training session on first aid, CPR, stretcher making, fire fighting, and self-defense under the observation of Mr. Suresh.
Furthermore, Dr. Samina Bano, a Professor in Jamia Millia Islamia’s Psychology Department and SBF Board Member, provided the participants with training on “Counseling for Trauma Affected.”
During the workshop, Dr. Amil Jamal, the SBF Volunteer Coordinator, presented an informative session on understanding volunteers’ organizations and their activities. He shared his insights on the importance of volunteerism and the role of volunteers in promoting social welfare and community development.
We owe the success of this workshop to the Mr. Shahzad, Mr. Imrul Hassan, Ms. Zoufishan Riyaz, Ms. Simran and other volunteers of SBF. Their tireless efforts and commitment to making this workshop a success are truly commendable.
