𝐒𝐁𝐅 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐏-𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐔𝐏-𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 & 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬.

A two-day training workshop on Disaster Management was organized by Society for Bright Future (SBF) on 29th – 30th October 2022, at Nanital, Uttarakhand in which 60 volunteers were trained in First Aid, CPR, Fire Fighting, River Crossing, Rescue etc.

Workshop starts with Inaugural words of Dr. Amir Jamal (Volunteer Coordinator, SBF).

Mr. Malkan Singh, Fire Station officer Nanital and Mr. Suresh Kumar, Delhi Civil Defence , gave his remarks on the importance of training in Disaster Management. They also elaborated on techniques and strategies to be adopted in Fire Fighting. He also conducted a mock drill on fire. Dr. Shahzad Farooqi, Chief Medical Officer Dehradun, Uttarakhand conducted training on First Aid, CPR, Snake Bite, Human Starcher and Knot Making.

Mr. Irfan Ahmad National Coordinator spoke on Volunteers Ethics and Responsibilities. Dr. Amir Jamal, shared his thoughts about the organizational Structure, Expansion & Consolidation of the organization.

The second day of the workshop started with Mr. Irfan Ahmad National Coordinator, SBF by team building activities, goal setting. Mr. Manish Singh, Disaster Management Expert, Nanital conducted training on River Crossing, rescue etc.

At the end of the workshop, awards and certificates were distributed to the participants.
