𝐒𝐁𝐅 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐏 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬

A two-day State Training Workshop on Disaster Management was organized by Society for Bright Future (SBF) on 29th and 30th October 2023, in Sattal, Uttarakhand in which 40 volunteers were trained in First Aid, CPR, Fire Fighting, River Crossing, and Rescue.

During the workshop Mr. Irfan Ahmad, the National Coordinator of SBF, provided insights into SBF’s mission, Objective and its role in fostering mutual relations. Dr. Amir Jamal the Volunteer Coordinator, discussed the organizational Structure, Expansion & Consolidation of the organization.

The workshop featured dedicated trainers, including Mr. Suresh Kumar from Delhi Civil Defense, Mr. Shahzad Farooqui, and Mr. Kailash who shared their insights regarding the significance of disaster management training, elaborating on techniques and strategies for fire-fighting, first aid training, and flood preparedness. They also conducted a session on team building activities and goal setting, followed by training on river crossing and rescue procedures.

The workshop concluded with awards and certificates distribution.
