DRMV Bandia organized an awareness program on water and vector-borne disease at lowland areas of Tangini River at Bandia Village. The program was attended by the sixty flood-affected families living in the nearby areas.
Asha worker Noorjahan Begum spoke on the subject and imparted the training about precautions to be taken for diarrhea, malaria typhoid, etc.Β Maryam Begum, a school worker trained about the use of ORS mixture for diarrhea patients.
Six volunteers of SBF actively participated in the programme.Β DRMV also distributed 60 packets of ORS among the families.
